Many Devonport properties are older villas and bungalows with original timber joinery that’s been battling the salt air and coastal conditions for decades. We specialise in replacing and upgrading aluminium joinery across Devonport — from single window replacements through to full-home renovations.

Why Devonport Homes Need Quality Aluminium Joinery
Devonport’s location on the Waitemata Harbour creates specific conditions that make quality joinery more important than anywhere else on the North Shore.
Salt Air Exposure
Devonport’s coastal position means constant salt air exposure — aluminium joinery handles this far better than timber, which rots and corrodes quickly near the harbour.
Heritage Homes
Many Devonport properties are heritage villas and bungalows with original timber joinery that needs replacing. We work carefully to maintain the character of these homes.
Wind & Weather
The harbour-facing position can mean strong winds and driving rain. Quality weathertight aluminium joinery makes a real difference to comfort and energy efficiency.
Double Glazing Benefits
Older Devonport homes with single-glazed timber windows lose significant heat. Upgrading to double glazed aluminium is one of the best investments for comfort and running costs.
Ferry & Traffic Noise
Properties near the ferry terminal and main road benefit significantly from double glazed aluminium windows for noise reduction.
Property Values
Devonport property values are among the highest on the North Shore — quality joinery is a sound investment that adds real value.
